BRIGHTON'S OWN LIVINGSTON Players

BRIGHTON'S OWN LIVINGSTON Players have been an active part of the Livingston County Michigan cultural community since 1962. Typically, we have mounted seasons consisting of three major productions and one or two children's plays. During the 1980's and 1990's we made our home in the Mill Pond Theater in downtown Brighton, Michigan. It was a City owned facility and, unfortunately, outlived the City's plan for the site it occupied. We are now sharing space in the CoBACH Center building.

We have not yet found a permanent theater home and have been performing in schools, banquet facilities, churches, and meeting rooms. We have our lights, props, sets, costumes, platforms, and chairs tucked away in basements and small storage units. For small productions, we will use the CoBACH Center. For larger productions, we will continue to utilize the many venues around Livingston County.

The COBACH Center is a place for us to run workshops for adults and children. We will hold rehearsals and play readings here. Playwrights will be able to see their latest works performed. Actors will try our new plays - new kinds of plays. There will be one actor shows and puppet theater.

Do drop in and find out more. Cozy Theater - theater in an intimate setting - is a concept we can explore together!
